Welcome to RAPAD SKILLING and the Australian College of Outback Tourism RAPAD SKILLING is the training and skilling arm of Central Western Queenslnad Remote Area Planning and Development Board. It was established to meet the needs of the region particularly in the area of coordination and delivery of training. RAPAD SKILLING through the Australian College of Outback Tourism delivers quality, non-accredited Tourism short courses and funded programs aimed at upskilling Central West Queenslanders to meet the job vacancies in the tourism and hospitality industry. Through partnerships with Registered Training Organisations, ACOT has facilitated the delivery of accredited training in tourism and hospitality in local communities throughout Central West Queensland. Undertake study through Australian College of Outback Tourism and gain employment in the exciting tourism sector of the Central West. RAPAD SKILLING and ACOT are continuously developing and improving. What's been happening? DISENGAGED YOUTH SET FOR THE FUTUREYoung people in the Central West will again have the opportunity to get assistance and training with the Remote Area Planning and Development Board (RAPAD) set to deliver the Get Set for Work program to help them on the path to learning or earning. CENTRAL WEST LAUNCHED INTO CYBERSPACEThe Central West is set for cyberspace with the launch of Oi! a new and innovative online resource that makes local information more accessible across the vast expanses of the region. |
